Powder Metal Parts

Powder metallurgy (PM) is a term covering a wide range of processes in which materials or components are made from metal powders. PM processes can avoid, or greatly reduce, the need to use metal removal processes, thereby drastically reducing yield losses in manufacture and often resulting in lower costs.

Manufacturing with powder metal minimizes cost by eliminating waste from machining, while maintaining close tolerances, producing superior surface finish and excellent part-to-part reproducibility. Our experience with materials and a variety of processes, finishes, and heat treatment, gives our company the flexibility to help our customers with all of their design and manufacturing requirements.

Through our Powder Metal (PM) process, we are able to manufacture gears with unique designs and close tolerances that are difficult to produce with conventional manufacturing processes. Our gears can be impregnated for self-lubricating, and quiet running. Any gear we produce can be combined with other components to produce a single part.

The manufacturer we represent has over 50 years of expertise in the design and production of quality powder metal parts for OEMs worldwide. They specialize in producing precision gears, pulleys, bearings, cams, sprockets, fasteners, soft magnetic components and complex multi-level, close tolerance mechanical parts.
